WHAT IS VIETNAM APPROVAL LETTER ON ARRIVAL ?

Vietnam Approval Letter On Arrival means a written approval of the Immigration Department to grant permission for individuals or groups of foreigners to enter Vietnam for one or more trips to Vietnam for tourism and investment , trading, business or visiting relatives.

After getting the letter, foreigners only need to print and bring to the international airport, Vietnamese embassy in foreign countries or the land border gate with 02 photos of 4 × 6 white background, pay the fee then Vietnam visa would be stamped.

VIETNAM VISA POLICY

Under Vietnam's visa policy, except for countries that are exempt from Vietnam visa such as Brunei (14 days); Japan, Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, Germany, France, England, Italy and Spain (15 days); Philippines (12 days); Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos (30 days); France and Chile (90 days with conditions), APEC card bearer (60 days); foreign nationality travel to Phu Quoc (15 days); USA (1 year), the remaining countries must apply for Vietnam Approval Letter On Arrival before coming to Vietnam.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR VIETNAM APPROVAL LETTER ON ARRIVAL?

Instead of applying for a visa to enter Vietnam, the following cases are allowed to apply for Vietnam Approval Letter On Arrival for foreigners and get the visa stamped at the airport / international border gate in Vietnam:

- Foreigners from countries that do not have Vietnam visa appraisal department;

- Must go through many countries before going to Vietnam;

- Applicants go to Vietnam to visit or tour according to the program operate by international travel businesses in Vietnam;

- Foreign crewmembers are on board ships docked at Vietnamese seaports wishing to exit through other country’s border gates;

- Persons who must return home to attend funerals of relatives or relatives whom are seriously ill;

- Entering Vietnam to participate in handling emergency incidents, rescue or disaster prevention or for some special reasons according to the request the Vietnamese competent authorities.

VIETNAMESE VISA EXTENSION
