ABOUT APEC CARD
The APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) is a document issued by competent authorities of countries and territories participating in the APEC Business Travel Card Program for its business people to easily travel to carry out business cooperation activities, trade, investment and services, attend at conferences, seminars and other economic purposes in countries and territories participating in the APEC Program. ABTC card holders, when entering and leaving countries and territories that name showed in the cards, do not need a visa of those countries and territories.
WHAT IS ABTC CARD PROGRAM
The purpose of the ABTC Scheme is to increase the ability of entrepreneurs to move freely between APEC economies, thereby promoting free business in all member states.
There are 21 economies currently participating in the ABTC Program, namely:
PERIOD OF VALIDITY OF ABTC CARD
The APEC Business Travel Card is a plastic card of the same size and shape as a credit card. It is usually valid for 5 years. However, please note that the card is valid to replace the visa, with short-term multi access (2-3 months) to member countries.
WHO CAN REGISTER ABTC CARD?
Holder of a valid national passport.
Previously not denied entry into any participating economy.
Persons who are 18 years of age or older, have no civil act capacity restriction or have no lose civil act capacity.
Must be a truly certified entrepreneur or investor (position from Deputy / Head or above of a large company), who needs to make a short visit to APEC countries for conducting business deals.
The company must not be entangled with tax issues.
Please note that the term real trader refers to a person who trades in goods or services or who regularly participates in investment transactions. The term does not refer to people of the entertainment industry, musicians, artists or people engaged in similar careers. Such people are not eligible for APEC Business Travel Card registration and will be denied an APEC card application.

PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING NEW APEC CARD AT NHAT NGA
The registration of ABTCs will be processed and reviewed in parallel with other APEC economies and countries. Therefore, the application form (ID 900) must be completed in English with block letters and black or blue ink, with the applicant's image stamped on it. The following documents you need to prepare for successful APEC card registration:
Applicants may be required to submit additional documents and support information as needed. During the application process, you can specify up to five economies that you want to prioritize business commitments. The designated economies will process your application. When you receive your ABTC, the reverse side will have a list of all the economies that have granted you free travel.
